The Marceline Carnegie Library is currently open as appointment only. To schedule a time to visit the library please call 660-376-3223. Our hours will be Monday-Thursday 9:00-4:00. We will still offer curbside pickup.

Events

May 26-July 28 - Summer reading challenge. 100 Years of Growing Readers!

Postponed until a later date. March 23, 2020 between 1:00pm and 3:30pm at the library - Pinterest Craft Club for Adults. This month we are making Tiger Paw Door Hangers for $15. Call the library to eserve your spot.

Weekend of July 17-18, 2020 - Marceline City wide summer garage sales, sponsored by the Friends of the Library. The cost is $10 for a 25 word description or less, and $5 for additional words. Download your form here to be added to the map.The deadline to have the form filled out is Monday, July 13.

July 21, 2020 from 7:00pm to 8:00pm - Warren Cain "Order of the Redeemed" will be at the Bethany Baptist Church as part of the Marceline Carnnegie Library Centennial Celebration. This is a free event.

October 2 and 3, 2020 at the Walsworth Community Center - at the Walsworth Community Center - Friends of the Marceline Carnegie Library Quilt and Fiber Art Show "Sew Through the Decades"

Weekend of October 9 and 10, 2020 - Marceline City wide fall garage sales, sponsored by the Friends of the Library.

November 1, 2020 from 2:00pm to 4:00pm - The Marceline Carnegie Library turns 100 Years Old! Reception at the library.

August 31, 2021 from 7:00pm to 8:00pm at Bethany Baptist Church - Randy Turner "Connections Between the Andy Griffith Show and Disney" A writer and lifelong fan of The Andy Griffith Show, Randy is the author of the book Mayberry Firstsand the creator of the Mayberry Day-by-Day Flip Book Calendar. A regular contributor to the fan podcast Two Chairs, Now Waiting. Randy enjoys traveling and speaking about The Andy Griffith Show, spreading the spirit of Mayberry to others. www.mayberrybooks.com
